Jamie Thomas, Principal of Midpoint CAD, LLC was chosen this year to speak at Autodesk University. She gave a 90 minute presentation on the "Secrets to Succeeding as a CAD Consultant". Over 200 students attended to gather tips and tricks that she and her panel have gleaned over the last 12 years of being in business. Topics such as, starting up, marketing, and customer service were covered. Students asked over forty minutes of insightful questions and seemed to enjoy the introductory humorous videos. Student reviews came back with very high marks and quotes such as, "This was an Excellent Class!". Jamie has attended Autodesk University for the past 8 years as an attendee, but tried her hand this year as a speaker. While it was a good deal of work to prepare, she plans to speak again next year on the same topics.
